International Sensory Lab: Recorded Sessions

International Sensory Lab is a training opportunity aimed at artists and practitioners from across the globe with an interest in sensory performance work, led in partnership with Rose Bruford College’s Theatre for Young Audiences Research Centre.

“I am absolutely fired up to make more performative sensory work. It has created a really strong base from which ideas have started to spring up.”
– Participant, 2020

International Sensory Lab: Recorded Sessions grants access to course content for six weeks, so you can watch it in your own time and at your own pace. Explore audience engagement, collaboration and the creative process, with speakers including Oily Cart’s current Artistic Director, Ellie Griffiths, Oily Cart co-founder Tim Webb, sensory engagement specialist Joanna Grace, sensory theatre company Frozen Light, and poet, songwriter and artist Miss Jacqui, among others.

“I highly recommend it to newcomers as well as experienced field professionals.”

“It’s completely changed the way I approach my practice so I will use it in the way I think, talk and act in terms of making things accessible for sensory beings.”
